Alone är en interaktiv musikvideo och ett instrument där du kan skapa en egen version av verket genom att byta mellan olika parallella videospår.

Verket är resultatet av ett samarbete mellan mig och kompositören Erik Slättberg. Vi skapade tio sekunders video och musiksegment, som vi sedan bytte med varandra, tolkade och utökade med ytterligare tio sekunder musik respektive video. Med 39 sådana segment (totalt 6.5min) kunde vi tillsammans bygga upp verket.

Temat för projektet är färden mellan ensamhet och gemenskap samt ordet periferi (som i att det kan finnas människor runt omkring en ensam person som den inte ser).

Verket ställdes ut under 2014 års examensutställning på HDK, Göteborg.

Alone is an interactive music video and a tool you can use to create your own version of the work by switching between parallel video tracks.

The project is the result of the cooperation between me and the composer Erik Slättberg. Together we created ten seconds of video and music segments, which we then exchanged, interpreted and added another ten seconds of music and video to. 39 segments of this kind make up the work (6.5 min).

The theme for the project is the journey from loneliness to affinity and the word periphery (as in the possibility of lonely people having other people around them who they don’t seem to notice).
