Google Place

(This is a fictional mission to make a pop-up store for Google, at SVA, New York)

Google Place is an interactive screen that can be placed in different public spaces like subways, train stations and information centers. On the screen you can login with your phone and search for nearby restaurants, cafés, shopping and more. These search results are based on your preferences and your friends recommendations.

You use the big touchscreen as an easier way to navigate instead of using you smartphone. When you are finished using the screen everything is synchronized to your smartphone and then you can navigate with it. If you are inside without GPS reception you can navigate by filming special QR-codes on the floor that will show you the right way to go with augmented reality.
